We had 40 hits last Thursday! Yay! I just now checked it. I was going to talk about how twists make stories interesting...
Today in history, Rianna was reading my story and her reaction to one of the parts was: Noo!!! Please tell me you aren't going to do that!
Because I was going to split up the girl from her boyfriend because of her parents.
The thing about stories is that everything always turns out right in the end.
And, as a writer, I know that I have to do this. Even if I don't want to do it, there are a few reasons why I do.
1. It keeps the reader interested
2. It can cause the reader to cry, which is good.
3. Not just because they're crying, but because they're showing emotion for your writing, which means it is good.
4. It's fun, at least for the writer. If you've never written a scene where characters fight or argue, you should try it. It's like therapy.
Good reasons, right?
An example of number one is when Fang left Max. No one in their right mind would stop reading there just because they didn't like it. They kept reading because they knew they were going to get back together in the end. Same with New Moon.
It's common sense.
Well, I have to write an essay and finish my english homework.
Listening to Five Minutes To Midnight,
Kris.
In reference to number four, it really is fun, even though it makes me feel evil. So awesometacular. Or awesometastic. Whichever you like.
Bye.
